Hats off to the Steelers Special teams today.

Field Goal Block by Cam Heyward
Forced fumble by Stevenson Sylvester
60 yard punt return for a TD by Antonio Brown
Jeremy Kapinos averaged 54.2 yards per punt. Who saw THAT coming?
Great coverage all day long. Phenomenal job!

The only misstep was a missed 50 yard FG by Suisham but the game was out of range at that point.

Great job!

Everyone was waiting all season for Brown to break one. Can you say FINALLY?

Kapinos has been really good so far....D-Sep you're gone......best special teams performance in some time.......a blocked field goal, a fumble, and a punt return for a TD (could have been a block in the back) but when you're dominating a team you get the calls sometimes....lol

We just need to get Sweezy out of there and it'll all be gravy.

One constant this season so far, amidst the up and down play from the offense and defense is the solid, consistent play of the special teams unit.

These guys have been covering kicks well year long, flying to the ball, gang tackling, and forcing some turnovers. They had a few bumps in the road early in the year but they've also followed those up with big splash plays as well. They currently rank 8th overall in the league on kickoff and punt returns.

The punt yesterday by Kapinos of nearly 60 yards right before the half which lead to the Bengals 3 and out deep in their own end followed by the punt return for a TD by Antonio Brown which made it 28-7 was the turning point in the game. It broke whatever will or anything the Bengals had left in the tank for the 2nd half and the rest of the game...I agree Kapinos is definitely a keeper and should definitely be the punter going into next season no questions asked...

They were a major player in this one. Kapinos where have you been.....! Brownies return for a TD and so forth.

I was one of those people that thought Jeremey should have gotten the job in preseason, over Sepulveda. I realize Daniel is the incumbent and he was having a good year until he got hurt again but Kapinos outplayed him the entire way and doesn't have the injury history that Dan has.

He's doing a great job for us, I have confidence he can bail us out anytime it's needed this season.

The Steelers special teams will be key again this week. If they can make some splash plays this Sunday it's going to go a long way to getting ahead in this game and putting it away. Antonio is playing so well right now and the special teams in general is playing very inspired.

A quick score or splash play like a nice return or kick block can get you up by double digits in a heartbeat.
