He looked good. Maybe he isn't a bust after all? Or just one game wonder?

Yeah but he hit the QB four times, that is four more times than Harrison did

Ktrain said it best Worilds gets there but never finishes the deal...A better QB would have killed this defense tonight.....

unfortunately true. Worilds needs to do a lot more to gain my respect

Worilds had his best game as a Steelers player to date. The sack may have been a coverage sack but atleast it was a sack and a positive play to help get the ball back for the offense. Jason was credited with 6 tackles total and the sack.

He was also getting some nice pressure tonight and might have had a 2 sacks if not for the holding calls that Hoculi's group missed.

he really just almost gets there, its very irritating. woodley is nowhere near as fast as worilds but closes 10x better

Not saying he is close to Woodley but we had 5 qb hits four were from Worlids and one I think from Timmons

Hopefully this playing allows to grow as a player and starts finish some of those close sacks......

He was also fighting a double team on the coverage sack. He played hard all game and got pressure quite a few times. Good game for the young gun.

He's only just seeing some proper football, he's still trying to fit in a bit. I thought he played okay, probably his best game to date.

He made a nice play late on, where he got pushed wide, what I assumed would be completely out of the play, but he curled back and made a lunging tackle for a no gainer on the back, . . . . that impressed me.

He doesn't seem to quite have the x-factor though, he needs to burst to the point of attack more and he looks a bit one geared to me?

Worilds played a good game. He was about the only one. That's as far as I'm willing to go. One game doesn't make him a solid pick anymore than one bad game would make him a bust. He's getting reps and seems to be improving. For now, I'll take that.

not at all. just making the point the Worilds was our only player able to get pressure last night! Against the chiefs? SA

Worilds looked good, but he has to develop another move besides the "speed" rush, which I think he doesn't have much of cause he put on some weight this year.

Palko was pressuring Palko, Jason just happened to be in the same area...

Sorry!

Worilds played a nice game. Hopefully this will give him confidence to become a more consistent player.

LET'S FACE FACTS the steelers aren't getting to anyone anymore all i saw was the KC o-line grabbing and tackling ziggy, cam, and don't get me started about Hamp. we have to figure out away to blitz with out troy in the game when he doesn't play the d becomes very vanilla. Worilds did good better than Carter ever was

Jason Worilds made his third start in Woodley's absence at outside linebacker and came up with his first NFL sack, the only one by the defense against the Chiefs.

"I thought Jason did a good job," Woodley said. "He got held a lot and didn't get the calls, not that that's anything unusual."

------------------

If Harrison is hurting in the back. Maybe Carter should play a few downs for him during the game.....

He was solid. He puts pressure on the QB, that's what he does.

We need guys that get to the QB, whether they get the sack or not, pressure the QB to get rid of the ball faster than they want to and good things will happen. You'll see more interceptions, we did, and less of the killer receiver plays by the opposing offense.
