View Full Version : Realistic chances that the Bengals can beat the Ravens

The Bengals are vastly improved from 2010 in just about every phase of their game. Quarterback, run defense, are 2 especially that are helping them win games this season. Leon Hall is done for the year so their pass defense is going to probably start to spring some leaks unless their pass rush can get after the opposition.

The Ravens don't usually lose at home, and when they do lose they usually follow it up with a win. They are averaging 34 points per game after a loss so I expect them to come out firing against the Bengals this coming Sunday.

The Bengals can win this game, they beat the Ravens last year. However they are going to have to keep it close and play great defense. Their front 7 and specifically the defensive line rotation should be able to keep a handle on Rice enough to allow the offense to get some possessions early. If they can capitalize on that and maybe get a turnover then anything is possible. If they get into a shootout, especially with Green hurt, it could rough.

Either way we all gotta be Bungal fans this weekend.

Is AJ Green playing? If not I don't think they have a chance.

How many catches did he have against us? one i think..

What was the final score.. 24-17

His knee cartilage was bruised, he may play. A shot in the knee he should play.

If the bengal defense can play as hard as Jacksonville's did. they can win this...

Arians lost the game for us.. Calling is usual crap attack.

If we win all 6.. we are the #1 seed... Thats how it will be... :cope::cope:

jerome simpson, brandon tate, shipley, and caldwell are plenty good enough at WR and gresham at TE.....the bengals and ravens always have good games, i wouldnt be surprised if the bengals give them fits, especially if dunlap is back.

AJ green is very good, but hes not the only reason they are winning games....and just cause the ravens swept the steelers doesnt make them great, they are very inconsistent

Hello. What were the realistic chances that the Jags, Titans, and Seahawks would beat the Ravens?

As long as they litterally beat the **** out of each other I'm fine with either or winning.

I'd prefer the Bungles to win though!

After the bengals performance against us,I feel they are ready to beat the rats. They will rattle Flacco into making mistakes .Was inpressed with Dalton a rookie cool, collected, and focused against us.They rotate D line, and all contribute. If they stiffle Rice,I got them beating the Rats.

Unfortunately for the Bengals. The rat turds only game plan is physical pain and outright harm. That's it. If you got bigger pain makers you win.

The Bengals can beat the Ravens.......When Palmer was the QB they always gave the Ravens fits.........The Bengals D is tough and will keep them in the game especially considering how inconsistent the Ravens offense has been this year......

Since the Steelers have the division lead, we should want the lower-placed team to win whenever two other division rivals play each other. Because the Ravens are in second place and the Bengals are in third place, we should want the Bengals to win, and if either of those teams play the Browns, then we should want the Browns to win.

Sure. Let everybody beneath the Steelers beat each other up. It improves our chances of winning the division.

I think the Bengals have a chance, I'd put it at 40%. Dalton is the real deal, and they also have a solid run game. It's just ashame they lost Hall, that is a big blow for the defense.

I also thought Colt McCoy was the real deal!

Let's give fire bush a whole season...

The bengals are the best team the Steelers played all year, most balanced and well coached. Was very impressed in the loss last week. They match up well with Baltimore and for some reason, Joe Flacco stinks more than normal when he plays Cincy (2 TD's 9 INT's). Barring a turnover fest by the Bengals, I see the Bengals winning this game, 20-16.

Steeldad made mention of the same thing on the show this week. Let the Ravens continue to lose games they shouldn't and let the Bengals continue to get beat up. At this point you take any advantage you can get.

I like the Bengals chances, even on the road. Most Raven fans I've heard around here and the media experts think it'll be a blowout for the Ravens.

Ravens gonna be fired up for this game after being embarrassed at Seattle, this game is too critical for them and I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens beat the Bengals by 2+ TDs. The Bengals are a decent team but when we played them, we were a few plays away from beating them handily, if Flacco has a great game they will win handily. But....GO BENGALS!

Don't know if anyone stated this but, the last 2 seasons with worse squads, the Bengals have beaten the Gayves 3 out of 4 times! :eek1: Just sayin'

It's a good matchup, and unibrow Flacco doesn't fare well vs 4-3 defenses.

Hope for the best.

The Bungholes have as good a chance as Jax, Tenn and Seattle. Let's hope they do it.
