Nothing feels good right now, losing the primetime, divisional, game against a hated rival. Nothing.

However take a look at the offensive line tonight and the fact that we might actually have a group that can stick together and make a name for themselves. Ben was only sacked 1 time, allbeit in the redzone which didn't help but overall against such a creative and relentless pass rush that the Ravens bring, these guys held their own.

Max Starks literally made Suggs a non factor when he was blocking him. He had help from time to time with Johnson, Miller, or a RB chipping in the backfield but if that were J. Scott, Ben would have been sacked 10 times today. Starks was on the money nearly the entire game.

I watched Marcus Gilbert a fair amount during this game too, and for a rookie the dude did pretty darn well. He had some help also but overall he is staring to really come into his own. The Steelers will usually keep a sidecar back there with Ben to help out but overall I'm proud of this group.

They were awesome once again tonight. I think the Ravens only got one sack, and Ben had time throughout the entire game. Complete turn around from week 1.

Ben had plenty of time most of the night but he still seemed to be rushing his throws, as if he was hearing footsteps. In these types of games you take what they give you and most of the time he did that.

The only time I heard Suggs name was on the int. He was a complete non factor tonight.

Even the int was on the other side, actually Gilbert should have been out there

I was impressed. I like me some Gilbert and Pouncey! Sure, the one sack was on Gilbert but as a rookie RT without any off-season that is pretty darn impressive. Starks was great as well. Too bad we didn't try to run the ball more to be honest. We had decent success with it whenever we attempted.

They are really performing better than they have in the past. Starks held his own all night, Kemo didn't make his usual mistakes, Pouncey looked good (loved the block on the TD to Wallace), Foster was alright and the same for Gilbert who really had his lone boner of the night. Much better than week one.

Ditto, very good job!

Cotchery was making plays too, that's another plus. Also our punter didn't blow his knee out all in all good job!

Did you see Pouncey with that big ole Hines Ward grin after he got knocked over on the offsides penalty? That's the first time I've seen him do that, LOL.

I really like the potential of this group, if they can just stay healthy and get some depth back in Legursky then we could have ourselves a pretty solid group by the time the season is over.

Pouncey loves this ****! He's a football player and just loves to be on the field!

Max pretty much held his own as did the rest of the line. Too bad the defense let the team down it would of been another nice one for the O!!

The Bengals have a good run defense, ranked #2 in the league. This will be another good test for them to see how they can handle a good front 7. Consider too that the Bengals haven't exacted played stellar offenses so is their ranking a bit of a mirage? I fully expect the Steelers to run the ball but the protection of Ben is priority one this week. If he gets time he should be able to put up another 300 yd game.
