Lee Evans is still out with an ankle injury; apparently there's rumors that they were considering placing him on IR.
Anyway that leaves Ike Taylor on Boldin and either Gay or Lewis on Smith all day long. I always like Taylor's chances against the teams best receiver so I'm not too worried about it. Boldin make some catches I'm sure and he had a good day against us in week 1 so I'm sure Ike will want to step up his game even more this week.
Smith just runs go routes, post patterns, stuff down the field so it'll be a track meet all day for Gay & Lewis. As long as they can keep the big plays to a minimum or not allow any at all, they should be fine with him.
The tight ends though, the Steelers are going to have to watch that just like they did last week against the Patriots. Flacco did a good job of hitting Ed Dickson in that game and he scored a TD. Since the Steeler linebackers should look alittle more like normal on Sunday with Timmons back inside with most likely Farrior, and Harrison back, I want to see them play a similar style of keeping the middle of the field in check and for God sakes tackle the ball carrier as soon as he gets his hands on it!
One thing though, if Farrior does come back, Timmons is going to have to be the guy because this year Potsie has had a rough time chasing TE's.
