 Stop Oher. Stop, your killing me.

There's always a heated debate whenever someone calls the Ravens' Joe Flacco (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/11252/joe-flacco) an elite quarterback. But where does he rate as far as grit?

Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/12621/michael-oher) put Flacco at the top, telling 105.7 The Fan (http://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2011/10/19/michael-oher-on-the-glenn-younes-show/) in Baltimore that he is "easily the toughest quarterback in the NFL."

Flacco has certainly proved himself under pressure this season. He has thrown "under duress" on 24.6 percent of his dropbacks, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Only Chicago's Jay Cutler (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/9597/jay-cutler) (26.5 percent) has had the pocket collapse more often.

In those situations, Flacco has completed 32.6 percent of his passes and has passed for 225 yards. His quarterback rating is 51, which ranks 19th in the NFL.

Flacco took some major hits in last Sunday's victory over Houston (http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=311016033), but he bounced back off the ground each time. With 53 consecutive starts, he has the league's third-longest current streak among active quarterbacks, ranking behind Eli Manning (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5526/eli-manning) (109) and Philip Rivers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5529/philip-rivers) (85).

“Since my first year here, I’ve seen him take some hits and nothing fazes the guy," Oher said. "It’s unbelievable just to see him stand in the pocket time after time when he knows he’s going to get drilled on this play. He’s fearless."

:haha: :bwah:  Are you kidding me!! Flacco has had a good offensive line for years, don't tell he he's tougher than Ben! It's not like he's lit up the super bowl scoreboard lately either. Stupid ratbirds never cease to amaze me.

He isn't a pussy like Brady, but he definitely isn't the toughest.

The Ravens better hope Flacco is tough because if he does somehow go down and get injured the Ravens have no backup QB at all. They have some rookie who has never taken an NFL snap before who's name escapes me now...

Regardless, the Ravens must feel a tad frustrated by his level so far this season. I mean, last season he was actually pretty decent throughout the regular season. Right now he is loosing games for them.

For some reason, the NFL media desires a good Ravens QB. When Boller was drafted, he was the second coming of Elway. Flacco blows.

Yup, Oher nailed it. And Flacco has led the Ravens to 3 Super Bowls and won 2. I seriously wonder if Oher even watched Ben last year.

To even suggest that there is an NFL qb tougher than Ben is pure lunacy, it is like saying that Iceland is much bigger in square miles than Canada. You can say it but people will laugh behind your back because 1. you are wrong 2. you opened your mouth and confirmed what everyone suspected

Watching Tyrod play vs the Steelers D would be comical.
