The Raiders gave up 2 first round picks to the Bengals in exchange for the rights to Carson Palmer.

1st round pick in 2012
Conditional first round pick in 2013 based on if the Raiders make it to the AFC championship game before then.

Wow, seriously??? Holy jeebus that's a steep price!

If Mike Brown would hire scouts and spend time researching, the Bengals could be a tough team to beat for the next few years.

I dont know if 2 firsts is too much or not. They could make the playoffs this year as San Diego isnt a GREAT team. They are definitely in a "win now" mode.

The Bengals are already a tough team to beat and are ahead of us in the div. This will only make them better, this is the right move..

Wow. Great deal for the Bungles. Typical Oakland overpaying.

I kinda understands them. They have something good going over there and actually have a shot at making the playoffs this year. They loose their starting QB and watch their PO hopes go down the drain. They got a pretty good QB in Palmer. They should, however, make sure that he does not cost them two picks rather than one.

Holy ****, what a ripoff. Like selling a used lemon to an old woman. The Bengals made out.

The Bengals did make out in this trade but now the Bengals have to put those picks to good use.......One good thing with the Bengals actually playing well and the Raiders there is a really good chance that either of those first round picks will be in the top 10........

WOW that is pretty steep price for an over rated qb that hasn't played a snap all year!!!

Good deal for the Bungals..not so sure about the Raiders. I can understand their situation but still 2 # 1's.

Anyone know how the Raider O-Line is, Palmer stinks when he has to move around.

What were the Raiders thinking. Absolutely overpaid for a what 32 or so year old QB?

Its a first this next draft and a 2nd the following draft unless the Raiders make it to the AFC championship game, then its two 1sts.

No worries about them making the AFC Title game with him as their QB, he's never won ANY playoff games yet. I doubt he's about to start anytime soon.

Cincy just committed highway robbery. Was this part of Al's last will and testament?

Palmer is starting on Sunday against Kansas City so they are throwing him right into the lineup and not messing around...

He should never have played to be honest. Rusty as all hell and without any knowledge to the playbook. Not many QBs would have done well in that situation.
