Per Adam Caplan Twitter

I'm told the Steelers are expected to work out former Bears/Vikings WR Juaquin Iglesias on Tuesday.

Per Adam they are also expected to work out former Texans 7th round draft pick Dorin Dickerson as well this week.

Right now this is just the team doing their due diligence in keeping their options open should disaster happen at WR with injuries and what not. We'll see how it goes and if anything comes of it.

Teams always work out players throughout the season...I wouldn't put to much into it......

Ya but he was a smaller, faster TE so he was moved to receiver in Houston.

Yeah, this is just the Steelers doing their homework on potential players. I wouldn't read anything more into it than that right now. One thing you always have to do is be prepared since you never know when injuries will strike.

I've read they've brought in (2) more WRs to evaluate in the last day or 2.

Since we are stacked with quality WRs already what's the point ?

Why not bring in more OL and CBs instead ??

What am I missing here ??

It doesn't make sense so I'm blaming Arians.

We're bringing in Dorin Dickerson and Juaquin Iglesias.

Dickerson was a TE in college, so we could be thinking of using him as a TE too. Houston tried to switch him to WR but it didn't work out so well.

Iglesias, I dunno, maybe we liked him coming out of college and wanted to see how he's developed.

Not a bad idea to evaluate guys to replace injured players before the season starts, but I would have preferred to see that they were bringing in linemen and defensive backs.
