NO. Especially if you'll be venturing around the rougher types of Baltimore. Hell, even in the harbor you'll be getting threats all day. My family knows this now from experience. It's nice to want to represent your team wherever you go, but if you value your life, I would definitely hold off. Now if you wanna wear a Penguins or Pirates jersey/shirt, I say go for it. But Steelers? Definitely not.

I've been to Baltimore many times and I always rep my Steelers gear. I don't care what kind of looks I get or comments from the locals. I wear it proudly down there. Hell if you can wear it to a game, you can wear it to the inner harbor or an Orioles game..LOL.

Now if you're venturing down the rough back alley's in ghettoville you might want to have an escort, LOL.

Eh, I dont know know, Im taking the lady with me and I dont think it would be good for her. Now if I was with my buddies then yea I def would, but for the sake of her, I dont think I will bother, maybe when I leave the game, we can just wave the towel out the window :)

It's not that big of a deal. You're going downtown to a baseball game. You're only wearing it for awhile before the game too. Who cares. Wear it and have fun. My wife and I wear our gear no matter where we go in Maryland.

I'll wear my Steelers gear anywhere..besides Baltimore. Maybe it was just wrong place wrong time, but we've had some real bad experiences up there. I just don't think the risk is worth the reward in this case.

We've worn it to Ratbird games and got jumped in the bathroom, screamed at, beer dumped on us, you name it. It's definitely not for the faint of heart but I'd do it again in an instant. That's a game though in the stadium.

The fact that it's not full blown football season yet, and it's an Orioles game, and he's not even wearing it in the stadium, no reason to think he won't be fine. If you eat out down there though, might want to double check your food, LOL.

Whatever you want to do dude, up to you, but I'd do it :)

What does our wife say?

Steelchamp glad to see ya live for another day. Baltimore, the city that eats s... A place where you can get your *** beat at Micky D's for being a transvestite (course that might happen anywhere). Dawg, it is a rough place. Hey, how did this society go down so deep. Just sayin. America we got issues! Peace out.

Of course you can wear it. Unless you are the type of person who wants to fight at the first little thing someone may say. You may receive a few harmless good natured comments that's it.

Today went great!!! Only one guy said something to his friend while I walked by, he said " O i Know he didnt wear a steelers shirt here". But that was all, I had my orioles cap on with my steelers shirt so I think I confused the baltimorons :). But I did get alot of looks, today was a good day to show bmore who the best team in the north is.

Glad to hear it dude! See we told ya you'd be ok, LOL. I always get the odd looks and a few mutters as people walk by when I have Steelers stuff on. I just blow it off, ignore it, or if I'm feeling feisty I'll say something back if they comment first. :reddevil:

It was funny, the looks were kinda like, "I really want to say something, but the steelers own us" lmao thats what they reminded me of. I mean really, what can they say. Plus I just let **** go, I just gave a smirk to the guy and nodded my head at him, but its pointless to argue with a raven fan.

Considering there will be like 12 people at the game, I think you will be okay. However, I can say that if you stray into a bar or restaurant, someone will provide you will with a very well thought out, eloquent, and pointed comment about how the Steelers suck .

Many Ravens fans are lowbrow cavemen. I live just outside of Baltimore, so I know their fans inside and out. Hell, even my in-laws make some of the most unintelligent comments ever. It is like they see purple and and their evolutionary progress regress by a few limbs on the tree.

Go to the game, and don't stray.

Good luck . . .

After watching the Ravens 1st qtr last night. I think the ravens fans should bow to steelers fans... they looked like they were missing pieces on offense and defense.

i love watching flacco get sacked...

You have to say tho, Eagles looked really really sharp on those two first series as well.

I love watching Flacco get sacked... did i say that...

The Pats scored a few points too.. Vick did score on his only drive.. that drive did go quick.. Lewis looked lost. or slow..

Flacco got drilled last night...Ray Rice was the only bright spot on that whole team, I know it's the first preseason game but damn that team looked bad!

Riley Cooper made Ed Reed look like a standing dildo!!

 Yes he did, although he's probably the last player that they need to worry about.

I lol'd at that one Ed was completely owned!! It's preseason so I won't REED too much into it! But if I was a diehard Ravens fan I'd be worried!!

Ravens running back Ray Rice had just 7 yards rushing on five carries.
