Per Ed Bouchette on Twitter.

Daniel Sepulveda will get a chance to win back his punting job.
The Steelers agreed on a contract with Sepulveda, pending a physical. If Sepulveda checks out medically, it will give the Steelers three punters in training camp unless they release one of the other two.

Sepulveda averaged 45.5 yards per punt last season before tearing the ACL in his right knee while making a tackle in an early December game at Baltimore.
Sepulveda, a fourth-round draft pick in 2007, missed the entire 2008 season with the same injury.

Jeremy Kapinos, who replaced Sepulveda last season, and undrafted free agent Aaron Bates are the other punters in camp.

Waste of cap $ IMO

Assuming he passes his physical, he'll get a chance to compete in camp and preseason. He is a solid Punter, but if he does win the job they better keep Kapinos on speed dial in case DSep goes down again.

A punter should not be hurt that often..

Turn around for a minute in this game and you missed everything. Thought this one was gone for sure.

He's just got bad knees, he had some issues in college as well. I feel bad for the guy, he's such a team player, great attitude, solid performer on the field but he just takes a step the wrong way on the field and blows out a knee.

I don't hate him, I just think he's a bit overrated because he is such a nice guy...

When he's healthy he is a really good punter. He's got a great leg and he's really improved his directional kicking over the years. Plus he's not afraid to go after a return man that gets loose.

This is a tough one though, he's a good team player and they spent a high round draft pick on him but you wonder if they will give him another chance to try and stay healthy after all the problems he's had.

Is his lower leg still connected at the knee. I'm expecting the whole thing to fly off with his next big punt.

If he isn't injured, he's one of the best punters. He gets injured so much because he was a linebacker in college so he goes around talking people and hurts his kicking leg.

Your man crush is back for another year Tampa...hopefully! LOL

It would be a great story to see him make the team and finish the year healthy. This going through punters every season is getting really old.

I just read today that the punters in camp are all turdballs 30-35 yard punts all day. Dsep is by far the clear winner...

we hope he doesnt blow out his knee, and if he does we bring in one of the bums we have in camp now, its not like they will be busy with jobs or anything....its better than handing them to job outright just to let them suck all year
