Since Rex Ryan took over the jets went from being a team that I never thought about to easily one of my most hated. If they get asoumuga its gonna fuel my hatred even more. And u know Rex wont be able to shut his fat mouth about it either...

I have no idea what their cap space is like, but could they get him and keep number 10?

yes they can do it and appear to be the front runners to sign him he has agreed to take less money to play for a contender

Cromartie will be gone. doubt they'll be able to keep Edwards now but I don't know what their cap room is. But then again im hearing randy moss' name come up as a jets target. Ughhhh I hate the jets...

Damn, it's all over if they get Nnamdi. Can't blame jets for wanting to win the super bowl.

Wouldn't go that far they still have ZERO pass rush. They can't get to the passer without blitzing. But they'll be a serious contender unfortunately

Can't wait for the season to start to see who is going to make a statement. We might have a couple surprise teams in the playoffs.

Even if they get Nnamdi, he isn't a pass rusher and he doesn't cover the middle of the field. They can still be exposed.

The 49ers and Texans are also going hard after Nnamdi..as are the Cowboys. If the Jets were to sign him it would have eaten nearly 25% of their cap on him and Revis!

Rex is reckless with other peoples money he doesn't give a hoot about 25%

You can't buy yourself a championship. He's so pissed off about being ousted from the playoffs the last couple years in a row that he thinks this will put him over the top, if they pull it off.

They'd be tough alright, against the pass, but the Jets fans will think they are the greatest things since sliced bread and already begin celebrating a championship.

I forgot they have zero pass rush so they can cover the deep stuff but not screens or crossing pats no worries

just like they did last year....i don't understand how these teams like the jets cowboys and patriots continue to acquire these high dollar free agents without putting themselves in salary cap hell...hopefully the with new cba there wont be as many loopholes for circumventing the salary cap

I can't find any information on the Ravens and Asomugha. :dunno:

Everything I've heard points to the Texans being the closest to reeling him in.

Same here and hopefully that's where he goes. As long as it isn't baltimore, new england, or the jets I don't really give a rats *** where he goes...

I hope SF drops the dough to pull him in. NFC team that we rarely play.

Jets are out Nnamdi is about to make up his mind

MattyVfromCT

Its gonna be dallas. Hearing stories of jerry jones and his cronies having some fist pump when the news broke the jets were out. They were the only team still in the race

Then again who knows. Nmadi's agent said dallas is out of the race too

Yep, now the Jets and Cowboys are out of the sweepstakes. So either Nnamdi held himself out too long and now he's screwed out of a lot of money..or there's a secret team that is ready to pounce on him.
