Steeler Addicts had the pleasure of interviewing 2011 7th round draft pick Baron Batch out of Texas Tech, on a recent episode of Blitzburgh Radio. As you'll hear when you listen to the show, Baron is such an outstanding individual that you just can't help but root for him to make the team and get on the field for the Steelers. Baron gave us some great insight into his offseason preparations, his thoughts on the draft, how he fits into the Steelers scheme, his off the field hobbies, and so much more. I think you'll find him to be a pretty amazing individual, not only from a football standpoint but also his passion for his charity and his overall outlook on life.

We look forward to doing more interviews with Baron in the future as we follow his career with the Steelers. We hope you enjoy listening to this interview with Steelers draft pick Baron Batch as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you.

If you haven't gotten a chance to see Baron in action at Texas Tech, here is a pretty sick highlight reel of what he's done and what he could potentially do in Pittsburgh!

Interviewing guys like Baron is so easy, they are more than happy to do most of the talking and are very easy to interact with. For a guy that just got out of college he's got a ton of interests and things on his plate to keep him busy when he's not on the football field. His pictures on his blog are incredible, the dude really takes photography seriously and it shows.

We can really use an elusive runner like Baron. I would love to see him evolve into Pittsburghs version of Maurice Jones-Drew
