I think Crezdon Butler will be the surprise on defense this year

im not sure about breakout, but let me just throw two names and questions out there ..

1. Odds of Timmons making the pro-bowl
2. Hood playing like he did in the postseason

I think Heyward will have flashes this year, btu maybe not breakout

Sly...

Definitely Sly. I think we'll be seeing him a lot on third down this year, well when we stay in the base defense anyway.

Maybe Worilds as well, it'd be nice to see him get some action as well.

Imo sly and worilds are solid but this year will be there first year of significant playing time so i don't think either will get enough time to make a contribution

I'm thinking Butler. I think he'll see the field a bit and make an impact.

This will be a good year to see these youngs like Crezdon Butler and Sly Sylvester. How much playing time they get is still to be determined but you like to see a big jump in production in year 2.

I also look for Butler though to have a big year, I think he's got a great chance to get significant playing time in 2011.

Ziggy Hood, he took huge strides the last part of 2010, I see him getting more reps this year and it should be fun to watch.

I am thinking Butler will have a breakout year and Sly will prove he is Farrior's replacement

Crezdon will be the piece that our D has been missing....if not then we are in for a tough season. I hope Lebeau trusts him enough to start him week 1 at CB because McFadden and Gay are not the answer

Just to add hope, a close friend of mine is a HUGE Clemson FB fan, he knows way more about FB than I ever will and he swears Butler can be a top notch CB in the NFL. For the record he cannot understand why Crezdon slipped to the 5th round and he is not a Steelers fan.

I also love Sly, his youtube vids are amazing. His nose for the ballcarrier is amazing. I never saw him in college but I have great expectations. Lets also hope that Ziggy will continue to develop into a dominant force. IM READY FOR THE RAVENS WEEK 1!!!
