Well, the first installment of Pittsburgh Steelers By The Numbers was a huge hit with a lot of communities, and they’re all asking me when the next one is coming out, so the answer is…soon. In fact, so soon, that if you take a two hour nap you just might miss it.

We did the first 20 the other day, now let’s take a look at the best Pittsburgh Steelers players of all time to wear jerseys numbered between 21 and 40.

How did Bobby Layne beat out William Gay?

Have to disagree with you on Amos for #21. I would take Mewelde over Famous Amos. I liked Amos when he was here but he just wasn't durable enough, and I think Memo's contributions over the years he's been here have been more instrumental in our success at the time.

Surprised you didn't consider Jon Witman for #38, even though his career was shortened due to back problems he was quite the good fullback while he was here.

Honorable mention to Timmy Lester, the original Bus Driver for #34. Also to future great Rashard Mendenhall. Neither would unseat Russel right now but they still get some props for being good Steelers.

out of this 20 player on this list, I saw 16 of them play: And #39 should have gone to Parker. Unless you are Ray Guy, no positional play should ever lose to a punter.

I was really tempted to go Moore. Just kind of a preference on that one I suppose.

Parker lost points because of his little marketing campaign, lol.
