Your are invited you participate in Redsox247.com's BOTB/GFX Competition!
About Us: Red Sox 24/7 is part of the NES 24/7 Sports Network. Red Sox 24/7 is an IPB hosted board with great staff, a lot of members, and great activity. We have been open for a year on Febuary 25th, and we are one of the top Red Sox Boards out there. NES 24/7 is still in the working. As of right now we have 3 out of our 4 boards up. They are redsox247.com, patriots247.com, and celtics247.com.
Boards Invited: Only the top level boards are invited! So that means you were considered a perfect board for this competition. If your inivitation is accepted, you will be going head to head against the top boards on the internet. With great members and amazing GFX artists as well.
Starting Date: Jan 26th at 4 P.M. EST.
Prizes: $50
A mass email to all of our members about your site.
A redirection forum for 1 month. (This would be during the start of the season (Most Activity)).
What You Get: 1.) Your own individual password protected forum for your board on redsox247.com during the competition.
A personal Mod to help with any problems you may have.
Professional judging from a GFX site.
RULES:**** We would both be having a BOTB and GFX competition at the same time.
After all 16 boards have entered, we put them head to head like follows. We decide seeds in the order they entered the contest.
***You must have 5 posts in order for your vote to count. Posts in the introductions and GFX sections will not count. We will be very strict on this as well as the voting in general.
Round 1
Board 1 vs Board 16
Board 2 vs Board 15
Board 3 vs Board 14
Board 4 vs Board 13
Board 5 vs Board 12
Board 6 vs Board 11
Board 7 vs Board 10
Board 8 vs Board 9
After the first BOTB is over we give award 4 points to the board that won. Say board 16 won their BOTB against board 1, we'd award 4 points to them. The score would be:
Board 16- 4
Board 1- 0
They now enter a GFX competition against the same board they did the BOTB against. We give them 4 subjects, all sigs are worth 2.5 points. Say NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL are the subjects you have.
Each board will have to enter one signature for each subject (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL) and put it against the other board's signatures.

The GFX judges would look at all 4 pairs of sigs and decide the winner of each one. Say board 1 won NHL and MLB and board 16 won NFL and NBA. 5 points would be awarded to board 1 and 5 points to board 16. They would be tallied together with the BOTB points and we'd declare the winner. It adds up to 14 but there still is not possible to get a draw because it is not possible for each board to have 7 points. (2.5+2.5+2.5=7.5) (4+2.5=6.5) (4+2.5+2.5=9)
Board 16- 9
Board 1- 5
Board 16 would move on to round 2 and board 1 would be eliminated. The process is repeated for the other 7 competitions.
