How can a QB drop the ball like that on a FG attempt :smh: I can't believe that

He went a little too far trying to hold the ball, can you say he was daydreaming about Jessica Simpson at the time or is it Carrie Underwood?

Apparently he was pissed that they didn't go for it on 4th down. He was pushing for that when Parcells said they were going for a FG, he threw his hands in the air and stormed off to go hold. Maybe that is why he lost focus.

Didn't know that... makes sense though! Thanks Hawk!

Yeah, only one guy at a smaller newspaper up here picked up on it.

On the sidelines, as officials were determining where to spot the ball, the Cowboys appeared tempted to go for it when Parcells summoned the field-goal unit for the chip-shot attempt. As he ambled onto the field, quarterback Tony Romo – who moonlights as Dallas’ holder on placekicks – appeared to wave his hand in frustration.

Maybe he knew something.

The writer focused on the thought that Parcells should have gone for it. But I read that and thought about Romo being someplace else mentally.
