It's such a shame, if he would have just gotten over his ego he could have revolutionized the whole "slash" type role. He was virtually unstoppable when he played the WR/RB/QB role.

Agree 100%. no telling how great he may have been.

On a lighter note they wanted to charge him with impersonating a QB but the statute of limitations protected him.

Shenley park, those cocoa puffs on his face, choking in AFC championship games...mostly dissapointing memories.

But they still may be able to charge him for bringing his girlfriend into the lockeroom. You know the girlfriend who had a mustache and an adam's apple. That girlfriend.

I feel sorry for these guys having every little thing they get wrong being reported. Millions of people do this every day, only 10k-20k people are 'worthy' of having it reported in the news though.

I must be one of only 10 Steeler fans who believe that all the Kordell Stewart rumors were petty and childish, and reflected very poorly on our fan base.

I blame that on the coaching staff, it's their job to get the most out of a player and they failed miserably in this case.

The Associated Press

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- Former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Kordell Stewart has pleaded guilty to driving with an expired license and speeding, saying his arrest in May outside Atlanta was one of the most embarrassing moments of his life.

Stewart was booked into jail in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta May 11.
He pleaded guilty to speeding and the driver license charge Tuesday, telling WSB-TV he has to abide by the law like everyone else.

He told WSB that his arrest "was one of the most embarrassing moments of my life because it was something that caught me completely off guard."

The Louisiana native played in the NFL for 11 seasons. He played eight with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1995 through 2002. He also played for the Chicago Bears and the Baltimore Ravens.

Kordell Stewart was a terrible passer, a good runner. But at the QB position, you need someone who can really pass and read defenses. He stunted our franchise with his teasing ability. Jack of all trades, a master at none.

He was a waste of time for our franchise.
