I'm rooting against the Steelers hiring Rivera because when he comes here, he'll probably bring in the defense he runs in Chicago which is a cover 2. The Steelers run the 3-4 and it's worked. I don't think we have the personnel to play a 4-3 upfront and I'd rather have the extra linebacker who can drop into pass coverage than an extra lineman.

Rivera will keep the 3-4 if he comes just look at our linebackers compared to our lineman

he has switched before from a 4-3 to tampa 2, hes not retarded he knows a teams strenths and would keep the 3-4, probably even lebeaus system while of course implementin his ideas but hes wont force us into what were not, hes not gruden for gods sake

First we need some new , young , fast, linebackers on the outside. And I agree if we leave the 3-4 I`ll be ticked. I think we need to hire in house if we want to keep Lebeau, and Perry etcc

This team is built for the 34, it's what we do and we do it better than anyone else. We don't have the personnel to run the 4-3, our lineman and linebackers were brought to the team to be in 34 defense. Trying to change it would be a disaster and take years to perfect so I wouldnt look for us to be switching defenses anytime soon.
