Some very special and memorable Steeler plays boil down to a one-on-one confrontation. Here's an example. I'll call it "The Streak."

In Super Bowl XIV the Steelers trailed the Rams 19-17 and faced a 3rd and 8 from their own 27. Bradshaw took the snap, faked a handoff, and then threw a pass to Stallworth who beat Rod Perry on a streak pattern. Stallworth took it all the way to the end zone for a 73-yard go-ahead touchdown to make the score 24-19 for the Steelers.

What is one of your favorite Steeler one-on-one confrontations and can you think of a good name for the moment?

Bettie takes a handoff runs left and is heading out of bounds when he spots Ray Lewis, Jerome then heads up field lowers his shoulder and plows into Lewis and goes another 5 yards.

P.S. The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by National Football League.

It's a good thing people keep you tubing these videos, I had over 50 of them wiped out by the NFL. What I do now is convert the you tube into a WMV file ,so that when the gestapo remove it ,I still have my copy.

Man that was a play that just epically defined Bettis' career.

Another 1 on 1 moment... Roethlisberger about to get sacked by Suggs, in the 2009 season I believe it was. Suggs was hanging all over Ben and he managed to get away just enough to throw it out of bounds to save field position.

Polamalu's diving pick of Phillip Rivers in the playoffs a few years ago was nice.

So was his pick against Peyton Manning that got ruled an incompletion, because the officials were taking a smoke break at the time.

Both definitely good ones, man that diving INT by Troy was one for the all time great highlight reels.

You could also make a case for Parkers 75yd. TD run in SBXL. He made 1 cut and took off leaving everyone in the dust.

Perhaps also Randle El's TD pass to Ward in XL.

Remember this one? Doesn't get any better than Norm Johnson's epic tackle.

How bout Jack Lambert tossing Jackie Harris,I believe, after he patted Gerela on the head after a missed field goal in the Super Bowl... that moment defines the toughness of the STEELERS !!

Thru the years, ther have been many spectacular indivual efforts, I think I love Bettis running over Uhrlacher the most. That shows what the Bus was in a single play
