Tonight, Blitzburgh Radio had the extreme honor and privilege to speak with former Steeler running back Verron Haynes. Verron was very gracious in spending some time with us tonight and gave us all some unique insight to Super Bowl week from a player perspective. You will not find a more interesting, humble, and all around great guy talk to than this gentleman.

Verron keeps himself very busy these days by being involved in many different organizations, but first and foremost he enjoys spending time with this family on a daily basis. The Verron Haynes Foundation helps bring awareness to the fight to cure Breast Cancer. A cause very near and dear to his heart as he lost his cousin who was like a sister to him to breast cancer, and has devoted a major part of his life to helping find a cure.

He is also involved in a new venture with ESPN called - ESPN Super Bowl at Sea. He will be doing commentary and talking about the game while cruising to Mexico...doesn't get much better than that! You can check out a great bio on Verron here. Verron is a very busy man as you can tell, and we as fans appreciate his interaction with us here on the show and also on Twitter. He's a must follow for not only Steeler fans, but for everyone. www.twitter.com/verronhaynes (http://www.twitter.com/verronhaynes)
