I give the game ball to Ben Roethlisberger. This guy was clutch ,the first drive of the game that took 10.00 minutes off the clock was all ben.

He bought time in the pocket and found guys downfield,he ran for a first down,he got hurt but got back up,he drove the team downfield for 7...........................................

He made a early statement to the Jets ,we are here what are you going to do about it ???????????????

mendenhall. rushard mendenbeast

:plus1: Yup

The guy made something out of nothing many times in this game. The game was won in the first half and Rashard was dynamite!

Mendy by far.

Big Ups to Big Ben, Heath, A. Brown (clutch play by a rookie 2nd week in a row) and the Steeler D of course.

As much as I ragged Mendy he showed me what I knew he had but seldom showed "toughness" lowering his shoulder not running out of bounds all the time, MUCH RESPECT.
Redman spelled Mendy very well too.
Ball to Mendy definitly

Same here. I was very hard on the guy last nigth, but he runs so damn hard. I'd like to give a shout out to Legursky too. Great effort by the kid.

I saw that, lol!

Vote goes to Mendy!!

He finally lowered his shoulder and layed out a safety! I loved it!

Mendenhall was great and deserving of the game ball!

A special nod to Off. line coach Kugler as well. I didn't see any line breakdowns or penalties for as banged up as they were. Great job as well.

yep, ball to Mendy, . . loved it when he finished that run by lowering the shoulder and attacking the defender, some really smart running.

Ben had a weird game, the pass to Miller that was deemed a drop, was an easy TD with a better pass. He under-threw Wally, when he had two steps on Revis, which would have been another TD, and the pass that was picked off intended for Sanders was a TD waiting to happens as well!!

The pass to Hines in the EZ that was batted at the LOS was heading right into Revis's arms too, . . . .

He made great plays with his legs, and found the guys at the end when it mattered, but the game should have been well out of sight.

He'll be better in two weeks, he has to be.

Go Steelers! :cope:

CO-Players of the game. Take either Ben or Rashard off the field and this is a VERY different game. But what about the difference having Heath Miller on the field!? He was awesome in the blocking game and made key receptions! Can't underestimate that impact either!

I would have to say Mendy for player of the game, but it is nice to finally have a QB, I was too young to remember TB, that can throw on 3 and 6 to finish off the game instead of running for 3 yards, punting and making the defense win it. That is why he got a 100 million dollar deal.

Of course, but I'm only concerned about the last game of this season for now.

I vote for Rashard "Mendenhorse".. While Ben was clutch as always, Mendenhorse was clearly the difference in this game.

They should be the same huge weapons in Dallas....

Packers ranked 18th against the rush...

The Steelers were #1 and the Jets were #2

Mendenhall - 127 yards 1 td and a hump!

"Da Man" denhall had more humps than that. What a stud. He did that to every jet defensive player in the first half :eek1: and had some left for the end of the game.

I like "Mendenhorse" the best though. It's beastly.

What a thoroughbred he was in that game.

Add to that Ben's two Super Bowl wins already and you get...

That was the best game I ever saw Mendellhall play for sure . He pounded down the Jets defense all night long and talk about second effort ,like on the first touchdown .

But , I gave the game ball to Ben because of the poise he showed throughout the game , he was clutch on the first drive which set the stage of the game . He protected the ball well ,bought time and made big plays downfield with his arm and when nobody was open he took off at least 3 times and made big plays with his feet .

Last drive he completed 2 passes ,one to Health one to Antonio ,to seal the deal . When was the last time we saw the steelers finish a game in this fashion ,me never .
