For mine I am going to say that the Steelers win the toss and defer which I fully expect them to do if they do win the toss, and then the Steelers in the first series Troy intercepts Mark Sanchez and returns it to the Jets 10 yard line to set-up the Steelers first score to put them up 7-0...

Another bold prediction while it's not completely bold is that Emmanuel Sanders will have a big day receiving and score at least 1 TD and Mike Wallace will catch at least 1 TD pass between 40-50 yards long...

Now is not the time to reinvent themselves, but boy if there is a gadget play the Steelers have up their sleeve, I hope the timing is right if/when they use it.

Does it really make a difference who gets the ball first? 99.999999999999% of the time there is no score on the first possession. I hope at least 2-3 Steelers get picks and both Hines and Wallace go for 100 yds. Make a statement boys.

3 things no one predicted from last week:

Kemoatu flys headfirst into a pile 5 seconds after a play has been whistled dead :banging: TWICE!

Flozell gets violently ill :barf:

We go down 21-7 and still find a way to win

This week:

Steelers grab an early 14-3 lead

Bruce Arians mysteriously keeps his above average play calling streak intact (4 or 5 weeks in a row now)

Sanchez lays on his back more than a Las Vegas escort

Revis grabs his hammy 3 different times

We hold LT and Greene under 80 yards combined.

Antonio Brown is the player of the game.

Keisel rows an invisible canoe after he recovers a fumble and rumbles 60 yards for a TD.

James Harrison literally rips the heart out of the opponent.http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/9687/sbjamesharrisonrjpg630x.jpg

Rodger Goodell screams like an 11 year old girl that didn't get a cell phone for her birthday when the Steelers win:nahnah:

If they win and defer, that would be classic Steeler strategy. 92 is right, this is the time to reivent yourself. First, BA, stay out of the way.

Second, a bolder strategy would be to win and accept the kick in oder to slolwy move the ball down the field 4 yards at a time and wear down the defense in the first quarter while staking your team to a lead and forcing a sophomore QB to try and take that team on his shoulders against a vaunted Steeler D led by James Harrison (who has been fined more than a New York City Hooker this year) and TP.

In the second half, while they have their hands on their hips, Steelr receivers abuse the Jets DBs who have been technically sound all year. There is no technique to cover fast.

Will Gay gets a sack in this game.

Ziggy Hood makes a splash play, a fumble recovery or big sack to on a key 3rd down.

Manny Sanders will have several key receptions to keep drives alive.

Ben will scramble for atleast 1 first down in this game.

Troy will make a splash play with a vintage Polamalu INT.

Sanchez with a QB rating under 65. Not really bold though since that is what his QB rating for his career is close to.

OK, so I wasn't even close as far as the second half goes, but not bad for the first half, eh?

We have our work cut out for us against GB, but our first half last night, coupled with GBs last half yesterday is an indication that anything can happen. I also prefer us being the underdog. I think it makes the Steelers want it even more.

Two weeks is a long time. Maybe one of the packers pulls a Cromartie and calls somebody out.
