And the 8th overall in the last 17 years counting the one in 2005 played in Denver before the victory in Super Bowl 40. You work so hard all season long to get that AFC Championship game at home by trying to win your division and win all the tiebrakers and it's just not an easy thing to do and something that should not be taken for granted. As Steelers fans we are so blessed and fortunate to have another chance to see this team punch their ticket to the Super Bowl by having another chance to win an AFC Championship game at home and clinch it in front of the great Steelers Nation...I cant wait for this game next Sunday night here. If you thought the crowd was insane and crazy last night against the Ravens, wait until big mouth Rex and pretty boy Sanchez come here next Sunday it will be completely off the charts...It's gonna be a lot of fun enjoy it guys I'm sure all of us cannot wait for next Sunday to get here...

I'm very happy to be in another one... some fans seem to take for granted the journey it takes to actually make it into the final 4. It's certainly not easy for anyone involved. Anytime you play for a Championship, it is an amazing experience! I'm pumped up beyond belief for this one!

This will be my fourth time to attend an AFC championship.the games i've attended we are (2-1) lost to san diego '94, win against indianapolis '95, win against baltimore '08...i'm really hoping to not have the drama of last weeks game. I would like to see us get up at least 10 points and hold that lead the entire game... I have been to a few winning afc championships and they were absolutely off the chart crazy, but the raven game the other night was without a doubt the craziest raucous crowd that i have ever seen at heinz field....just because we were down 14 points to a team where sometimes 14 points wins the game...The only way i see the crowd getting crazier than last week is if there is some type of similar drama, which i'm not really looking forward too...i would like a nice easy win...i would say the 08' afc championship win against the ravens was my second best game at heinz...go steelers ...that seventh championship is so close i can smell it:tt02:

There is that number 7 again as well. Steelers trying to win their 7th Super Bowl with their QB number 7 in his 7th season, with the Steelers hosting their 7th AFC Championship game at home since 1994...Pretty amazing stuff you cant make this stuff up...

Steelers 5th AFC Championship game in 10 years, 8th since 1994, and 15th since 1970--most in nfl. Awesome. History is on our side baby.

There's a lot of 7's and 11's being thrown out in this years postseason. Hopefully it's a good omen. So far it's been good to us.

We are definetly spoiled as fans! And is it just me or do people seem to hate on us more and more lately. Hell, I had 2 old coworkers from Bmore "unfriend" me on FB after i congratulated them on a good game! Love it man, LOVE IT!

I have no doubt that you guys will have that stadium rocking but I don't see the Jets getting nervous. We've been in this situation before (Granted, nowhere near as often as you guys). I'm sure that nerves/inexperience played a part in last year's loss to Indy but I just don't see that happening again.

We are spoiled fans for sure , we have a great team !!!

It's such a joy watching the steelers play especially at hienz field the fans are amazing.

Who would have imagined that the AFCCG would be played in Pittsburgh with the way the Patriots were playing ?

The steelers of the 70's were great , but if we can win the Lombardi this year , we have some comparing to do .

I'm am so proud being a part of the steeler nation , I'm looking forward to Sunday , I know the Jets defense will go after Ben , but I feal pretty confident we will be able to withstand the heat and come out of this one as winners...............................

I don't think there would really be any comparisons to be made. The NFL has changed wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much for that.
