Here are some of the shots I took, I'll upload more later but I wanted to get some of them uploaded atleast. Some of them are better quality than others due to lighting conditions and a cloudy sky for part of the day.

You can see in this one especially how torn up the turf at Heinz really is at this time of year..

Thanks! I wish the lighting would have been better through the whole game but it was dreary through alot of it, then the sun came out in spurts here and there.

OH MY GOODNESS, MATT!!! Freaking beautiful pictures I've ever seen. I hope you didn't mind me saving these pics to my files. Your wife is very beautiful, and you are a very blessed man. You look great. Did you meet K-Train, Bleeder, and the others?

Sure you're welcome to save them. I played phone tag with 32 a couple times. Ktrain left his cell in the car, so I didnt hear from him till later on, but it's all good; Im sure we'll meet up in 2007 .

Im still stuck on the hangover from yesterday. Driving 4 hours there, sitting in traffic..then all day there, then sitting in 2 hours worth of traffic just to get out of the stadium/parking lots, then 3 hours home...

Matt, after I talked to you while I was waiting to get in the stadium my cell phone died. I forgot to charge the damn thing up. I'm a dumbass. So sorry about that bro. But those are some great photos. The game was awesome even though the Steelers lost. I had great time. I really wanted to meet everyone from SA that went to the game. Maybe the next time.

I clearly remember doing the pilgrimage thing to da burgh, to see my Steelers get their butts kicked.......... dem 80's many 90's and some of 2000 decades (especially 2003) we usually lost LOL. We used to go to 4 games a year, all at 3 Rivers. My son & I both have many, many wonderful memories. :bigthumb: :tt02:

All of my memories at TRS are awesome. I consider it an honor to have attended games there. It was an icon in the NFL for decades and will always hold a special place for me as well. We made a day trip there when they imploded TRS, I'll never forget standing at the point and watching it fall.

I have a series of framed pictures of that horrible day, the day they imploded 3 Rivers. I wish they could have somehow remodeled TRS, they only added a few thousand seats, however, with Heinz there is room also for growth as they can fill in the open end (which I would be surprised if they did.) The structure was built very strong, as I remember they had to put off the original date of the implosion because they found out the concrete was thicker than they thought.

The last game played was not a sellout which has not happened since the football strike. I found this article on dogpile.com

That was the saddest day in my life when I seen the video implosion of TRS on a WPXI feed. Oh I had tears.
