I still think Mendy doesnt get enuff touches...

Im getting tired of looking at Moore...

Its time to get Redman more involved (yes I said it)...

Your thoughts?

Whether the coaches will admit it or not, they don't w3ant to run Mendy's wheels off. The are limiting his carries for a reason and i'm definately in favour of it.

I am completely on the Redman bandwagon... he deserves more carries.

I don't see how Moore is getting touches over Redman and Dwyer.. In a game like this, where its evident the game is over pretty early, put Redman and Dwyer in and let them get some experience...

Not trying to knock mendy out of the picture but we could have the best running back duo in the nfl. If we are trying to establish ourselves as a running team we have to get him the ball more. He has 50 carries for 235 and the suprising thing is he has NO rushing tds. If we have a guy who runs as hard as redman does (ex. end of the game run when he broke about 5 tackles) you need to use him on goal downs on the one. If you put lagursky in with redman behind him, theres no way Carolina stacks him up 3 straight times. The thing is we are using Mewelde Moore alot more in the redzone for run plays than Isaac. There hasnt been one game this season where Redman has gotten over 7 attps in a game and I think he needs to atleast get between 10-15 rushes every game. And if we are int he redzone put Mendenhall and Redman in there or do something to get him the ball more. I just think if he got more chances in the redzone (specially near the 5 yard line) or offense would atleast have about 4-6 more tds this year.

I agree with not running Mendenhall into the ground, have to keep him fresh for the playoffs. What drives me crazy is watching Moore and his 1.5 yards per carry getting playing time over Redman who averages 5.7 for his career.

Can Redman be an NFL running back, at 2 or 3 carries a game we'll never find out.

Redman can't do much more to earn carries. He's been playing spectacular for his spot duty. I would be livid if I were him. I find it funny all those people knocking him from day 1.

i really wanted to see dwyer in the 4th... but he was probably inactive again. rooney said last year he wanted the young guys to develop faster... but i guess mendy needs to break a leg so dwyer can run the ball a few times..

As long as arians is here, our RB's, FB's, Tailbacks, "The Pony".... Will be a side show...

Next year should be a different steelers offense.. I am looking forward to it.

I was dissapointed with no Dwyer last night and limited touches for Redman.

Yea I dont get how he HASNT earned more carries, the guy runs with a chip on his shoulder every time he gets the ball, hes not easyt to bring down. Idk if I can compare, but he reminds me kinda like Corey Dillon from back in the day.

As much as we want BA gone... you gotta think like Tomlin:

1. BA just won a super bowl 2 years ago
2. We (should) just won our div
3. Ben backs BA
4. Me Tomlin, is scared of change
5. BA "survived" all of our injuries to our OL this season
6. We made the playoffs

As much as i hate to say it... BA isnt going any where :evilshake:

I pretty much agree. My only question is how is Tomlin afraid of change? How do you know he personally is?

Like what he contributes.Runs hard with good vision, balance, and a great heart. needs to develope better technique in accepting a handoff.[make a pocket for the QB to place the ball] I spoke to this in another post.

Arians doesn't want us to be a run first team, last night was a prime example of him just doing what he loves, passing the ball to wide receivers!

It worked against the woeful Panthers, but in few weeks time, we're going to struggle.

Mendenhall runs hard, the kid can juke like Barry Sanders (well almost) and power through defenders like Bettis (almost) ..LOL. Seriously though the kid runs hard and earns every single yard. He's got great vision and continues to get better. I'd love to see him get more touches, but in this offense Arians still likes to pass first. Imagine what this kid could do with a fullback in front of him.

Memo has a place on this team and a role as a 3rd down back. His productivity hasn't up to past years though so far. His veteran presence is a plus for a young backfield. I do thinkt his could be his last year though. I would love to see a combo of Mendy & Redman on a regular basis.

:plus1:. For what chances he has gotten, he's proven himself every single time. Why he isn't our sole redzone back, I don't know. Must be BA's mastermind at work.

I disagree and I think Mendenhall has average vision and I think with improved vision then I think he could be a great RB.......I have seen him make the wrong cut back many times this year......I'm not saying the kid isn't good since I think he is super talented and only improving.....But in my opinion his vision is something he can work on......You can't dispute his talent since he has mad skills.....Of course it would help to have a much better OL that can run block better......But still some of it falls on him to....

As for Redman I think he should get some more carries as well especially to spell Mendenhall at times......Especially inside the 5 in the red zone.........

The only thing Moore offers this team is an outlet out of the backfield on passing downs.....But Mendenhall and Redman can do that as well.....
