My first game was the Steelers vs the Browns at old municipal stadium in 1983. I was 13 years old and came decked out in steelers gear. I was spit at, had beer dumped on me etc. Thats why I hate the Browns so much.

We lost that day 30-17. Cliff Stoudt started that day. It was the last regular season game for injured Terry Bradshaw, Franco Harris, Mel Blount. Brian Sipes last game as Browns qb. Two weeks later we lost to the Raiders in the playoffs.

Oh btw Jack Lambert got ejected too.

:spank: well... it's about time for you to get to one then. Hopefully your time will come soon!

My first was in 1990 against the Bungholes at Three Rivers Stadium. Cold as a bitch that day too. I think I bought like 4 scarfs from vendors in the parking lot.

I believe the first game I went to was on December 21, 2003 verse the San Diego Chargers. My father and 5 other people including myself stayed at the Hilton I think, and he bought tickets from this guy on the street for $200 dollars a piece. I thought he was crazy for spending that much at the time from some random guy on the street and I said "dad, how do you know those aren't fake?"....he responded with "well if they are fake, then I'm out 1200 dollars". We get to the entrance and the lady says "Come with me to security"......We walk up to security and they spend five minutes staring at the tickets, and all the people we were with were thinking "ahh sh** these tickets were fake and Steve just spent 1200 dollars on nothing".....eventually, the security guard says "oh these are the new box seats they just built.......so it was a pretty cool experience and the seats were niiiiiice.....we won that game 40-24.........i've been to two other games, one verse detroit and I can't remember the other one

I believe it was against the Bucs back in '05 or '06. Really cool game. We got club seats from a guy who wasn't going to the game. Good thing too, because it was pretty cold.

I don't remember the game but it was waaay back in 1973 when I was 13. My brother in law and his buddies all had season tickets in different sections. They would take me 3 or 4 times a year and we stood against the wall in the end zone.

One of the first games of the season in '96. I can't even remember who we played though. It was back when I lived in Pittsburgh and I went to quite a few games that year and the next one. I then moved out of Pittsburgh and hadn't been back since. Had my first game at Heinz last Sunday. Shame we lost.

I'm thinking about getting the Steelers to pay me to come to their home games. I'm 5-0 at Heinz Field :hehheh:

I'll chip in for your tix.....lol if that means the Steelers go 19-0 and win the Super Bowl next year....lol

I have only been to four Steelers games......Two in 1997 when I lived in Pittsburgh for over a year and my Uncle had season tix......I got to go to both Sunday night games that year against the Colts and Ravens......Steelers won both and kicked the crap out of the Ravens 37-0.......Vinny Testeverde threw three first quarter INT's.......lol Yancey Thigpen caught a 50+ TD from Kordell.....Of course my man Greg Lloyd had a sack but he was clearly not the same coming off that terrible knee injury in 96........

The other two games I have attended was a Steelers at Colts at the RCA dome on Monday night football in 2005.....Colts kicked the crap out of us but we got our revenge in the play-offs against them....I had tix for the play-off game that year but it fell through at the last second......

Then in 2006 I went to Heinz Field and saw the Ravens again....This time the Ravens kicked the crap out of us.......Won my first Steelers games I attended and then lost my last two.....So I don't know if I want to attend anymore since I have been bad luck for them.........

I don't remember the year anymore, but my parents took me when I was probably 12 yrs old or so to TRS to see the Steelers vs the Patriots. It was snowy, windy, icy, crazy cold but man it was a blast.

I can't remember a single Steelers player from back then. But Tittle, well, he was a legend in them days(someone who, if you saw onetime you were not going to forget). I can't say for sure but, most players/opponents of the Steelers got their *** bloodied in those days. The game was FOOTBALL the way the Steelers played it. To this day the Giants are the only other team I really give a **** about. IMO they are the Steelers of the NFC.

Superbowl XIV in Pasadena, against the Rams, for me. My friend and I were given field passes by a California realtor and had no idea what was in store. I had a chance to stand close to Lambert (and boys) entering field for game; snorting like the beast he was! Great memories! Been a Steeler freak ever since! Will die a Steeler freak in Indiana. :helmet:

I've only been to one game so far, which was Against the Jets in New York, which they lost... One travels 7 freaking hours for one of the worst Steelers performances I've ever seen. Jets were like 2-10 at the time. Oh well, hopefully I'll get to see them in Heinz next time the economy allows me to travel over there again :)

Ya we used to own the Jets. But they've won the last 3 against us. Go figure. They didn't get there first win against us until 1988. Speaking of the Jets, anyone see old Sexy Rexy and his wifes "pornographic" foot video? lol. Better watch goin barefootin in his locker room. lol

My dad and I joke because the Pirates are 14-0 with me in the crowd. Of course I haven't been to Pittsburgh since 1996 and most of those 14 games are from the 80's.
