To pass some time before anything major happens (such as September 7th finally rolling around), we're going to look back at the most memorable plays from last season. Each member is allowed to nominate one play that was their favorite or most memorable (regular season or playoffs) and we'll have a rather nice list. You can nominate a play in this thread. Also, if you can find a snapshot or video (likely on www.youtube.com) then feel free to post that with your nomination as well.

Then, when we have a solid list (I'll be sure to tell you in advance when we plan on closing this) we're going to vote for the top three in a seperate thread. You will vote for #1, #2, and #3 with each being worth 5, 3, and 1 points respectively.

Anyquestions can be asked here as well. So start those nominations and I'll give mine later. I assumer there will be one play that everyone thinks of first but we'll see what happens...

Gotta go with the 'The Fumble' and 'The Tackle'

Hell yes. Or is it hell no? Either way it was memorable.

Yeah I figured that would be the #1 pick. And even if someone said the one you think, then go with what you think is #2 or #3.

If I could I would nominate the Steelers D for sackin the "invincible" Peyton Manning FIVE times in that game...with much credit to Joey Porter.

But since it is one play I will say the play in the cincy game from Randel El to Ben to Wilson...the utter look of confusion by the cincy D is priceless!

I'll say Willie Parker's 75 yard run. Just a great show of speed and great blocking on the o-line.

Yeah I was lucky enough to be at that game. That was also when Bettis ran for over 100 yards and had that really long run where he had to run out of bounds since he lost his breath.

Everybody told us the Bears were going to win because they were on a hot streak and we were out of sync and didnt have a chance against that Defense ! We showed em alright with Steeler Football!

At one point though there was so much snow you could barely see the other side of the stadium and the city skyline was completely gone.

That quote right there is evidence to why it is so great to play football in an open stadium. It makes the experience unique, dramatic, and damn insane when it is goin on. I only wish I had been there!

I totally agree with you. Places like Detroit and Minnasota need open air stadiums like we have here in the Burgh.
