NFL says Steelers clinched a playoff berth tonight

I just got the text from the Steelers. I'm not sure of the exact scenario but I think it has to do with the fact that the Colts beat the Jags today. I'm sure we'll get the official info soon.

Yeah the Colts had to win and someone else had to win..can't remember who it was, but I guess they did.

The NFL notified the Steelers this evening that even though they lost, they clinched at least a wildcard playoff spot based on a tiebreaker that would go their way on strength of schedule.
The Steelers still can win the AFC North Division and earn a No. 2 seed with a first-week bye in the playoffs.

So yeah we clinched but it's a small victory for now. Hopefully we'll feel better about it tomorrow.
