We just arrived home about 45 minutes ago from Pittsburgh. Even though the trip was short in time it was filled with memories myself and Missy will carry on forever. The podcast with Wolf was outstanding. We talked about the game, SA, and just had a great time. Hands down both he and Frank (Wolf's talent coordinator) are 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. They made us feel right at home and welcome in their offices. They also really appreciated the SA mugs that we gave each of them. Wolf poured his coffee right into it before we even started. Below are some pictures we took during the trip. Wolf, as you know if you listen to him on the radio is one of those guys that is a great story teller. I could seriously listen to him non stop talk football.

It was also very nice for them to allow me a couple minutes to talk about the site. I made sure that they knew how much I appreciate not only AZ & BR7 but also the staff as a whole and all of you members. Thank you all, you guys know how much I appreciate your efforts and participation here on the site.

Be sure to check out Tunch & Wolf's Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=259672&id=709453281#%21/pages/Tunch-and-Wolf/232611296272) page as well, they've got us linked up there promoting the show this week. Don't forget also, Wolf does his weekly podcast (http://www.craigwolfley.com) every Monday following the game. It's a blast to listen too as only Wolf can describe it.

See the image below to get to the podcast itself and listen to Wolf, Frank, and myself talk about the game.

So, we leave for Pittsburgh Sunday evening about 6pm or so. We get everything packed up and head out, and we're on way happy to be leaving home for awhile. It's been a long week as some of you know with Missy's grandmother passing away, and week of craziness to say the least. So we get about 2 hours into the trip and we get a phone from her sister, "umm, did you guys leave a suitcase here?" Are you kidding me! Sure enough we left without our suitcase! I thought she had it, she thought I had it. Fortunately we atleast had our bag with the bathroom stuff in but of course, no clothes except for what we had on our backs. So we get to Pittsburgh about 10pm, check into the hotel and thank goodness there was a Kohl's right near by that was still open so we were able to buy something to wear today. Only us I tell ya... only happens to us! Wolf and Frank got a kick out of that story.

Then our GPS got us almost to the Talent Network offices but it sent us 1 turn the wrong way and we got lost about 1 mile from the place. Thank goodness Frank knew where we were when Missy called him and we got there ok.

We wanted to hit up Jerome's bar & grill but with the snow coming down harder we decided to just eat closer and then head home. We will definitely hit it though for fan fest in 2011. The snow wasn't too bad during the day but it started coming down harder as the 5:00 traffic started. It took us about 45 minutes to get down 376. Once we hit the turnpike it was like a snow-pocalypse. Whiteout conditions, could barely see where I was going. Even drove right past the first rest stop because I couldn't see it ( and we needed gas too). We made it ok to the next one despite having to drive about 50 mph. just to even see.

So we made it home ok, and last but not least here's a pic of the car after the turnpike snow experience.

It really was, at first I was alittle nervous but Wolf is such a genuine guy he makes you feel right at home. Talking Steeler football with a guy like Wolf is something I wish everyone could experience. He talked with Missy and I before the show and after which was really neat too.

Got an email from Wolf yesterday thanking us for making the trip out there and for doing such a great job. He really digs SA...and I think he digs his new coffee mug even more..LOL

Very cool, Matt! You should tell Wolf to join us here at SA. We'd love his input in the threads.

I know he's looked at the site already to check it out, I don't know that he has time to input on the threads like we all do. He and Tunch look at game film in the mornings, he does a daily radio show with Tunch from 11-1 on FoxSports 970am. He does his podcast on Mondays following the game. Plus he hangs out at the training facility during the week doing interviews and of course traveling with the team on away games. He's pretty busy but I'll make sure he knows if he ever gets time he's more than welcome to participate with us. :yesnod:
