Faneca is back in the Pro Bowl for his 6th appearance, Way to go Alan !!

Willie Parker makes his first appearance in the Pro Bowl !! What an honor, and well deserved.

Troy Polamalu is voted in again at Safety, there is none better than Tazmanian Troy !

Casey Hampton is also going back to Hawaii this year. He's proven his worth time and time again for us and it's good to see the NFL recognize him.

Just imagine all the players we'd have had voted in had this year gone the way we all figured it would. Sad to see us not having a starting LB in the pro bowl this year, it's a pro bowl tradition for us.

i finally saw wht they said

the votes only mattered as a third of the decision on who got in

Yeah I think Farrior or Porter one of them should have got in. The other 4 our desierving but Farrior is having a pretty good season. The thing with 3-4 lbs's is that they have to be having above the perfect seasons. to get in

I doubted Faneca would get in with the major protection issues we've had. I think he may of gotten in on past performances IMO

Congratulations to the Steelers Four Pro Bowlers. WHOOOHOOOO!!! :tt02: :tt02: :tt02:

I expect that number to go even higher next year with Hines, Ben, a CB, and a LB as well as the usual.

Hines should have been there, but his injuries this year slowed him down in the eyes of the voters.

Hines should have been there, but his injuries this year slowed him down in the eyes of the voters.

I voted for Hines. I'm just glad Willie Parker made it since he has been mostly consistent all year with his play. He deserved it bigtime. I think Troy deserved it also. That shoulder injury bugged him early on and if not for that he might have a great season. As for Big Casey Hampton the NT don't get the stats but as we all know the NT is one of the most important if not the most important position in a 3-4 defense. So it was nice to see Casey rewarded again. As for Alan Faneca he might have made on his rep. But you can say the same for Will Shields.

I agree, I voted for Hines as well. He's as valuable to our team as anybody in the league.

This is the sixth straight season that three or more Steelers players have been selected to the NFL’s annual All-Star game. During Bill Cowher's 15 seasons, 29 different players have been selected to the Pro Bowl — 25 were first-time selections — combining for 69 Pro Bowl trips. ... This is the 10th time in Cowher’s 15 seasons that at least four players were placed on the Pro Bowl team…It is the 13th time during Cowher’s tenure that a Steelers offensive lineman has made the Pro Bowl. Thought I would dig this up and throw in some tidbits.....

Nice Stats and thanks for bringing that up!!! I like to see another Steelers coach try and duplicate this.
