Man what a job this kid has done since coming in here the last 2 weeks. He is now 6 for 6 hitting FG's and made a big 45 yard FG tonight to get the Steelers on the board early in the 3rd quarter...Plus, him being asked to punt the ball after the Sepulveda injury was just huge seeing that he did a great job doing so. This guy has been great so far and really seems like a humble likable kid. Jeff Reed is now beyond a shadow of a doubt completely and utterly forgotten about...Go rot in San Fran Jeff Ill take Double S over you anyday of the week now...Mad props to Suisham tonight for his efforts...

Hey, you have to love this kid. He is cool, and clutch in the face of adversity. Winds were a big problem tonight and he was dead on. Now we know he can punt too if he has too. The winds are what caused Harbaugh to not kick the long FG late in the 4th quarter.

I'm completely sold on Sushi and if he keeps this up the Steelers sign this kid this offseason and we move forward with him as our kicker.

I guess all the Reed supporters can quietly go away now? This kid is doing a good job.

I love it because we take the Deadskins trash and turn it into Gold. Wish we played those clowns every year.

got to give him credit. he's playing extremely well. I just cant help but feel that he is going to break our hearts in a big way at some point. he's always had trouble making clutch kicks. I dont know man. I get nervous when I see him out there. I really hope he proves me wrong. so far so good, no doubt...

Any kick vs the Ravens in that wind tonight qualifies as clutch. I think the Black and Gold was all he needed to become a great K. Hope we find a good punter cause watching him catch it was painful. But I'll tell ya what, cannot complain a bit about the end results.:helmet::tt02:

Mad props to him tonight. He made his field goal attempts and is now 6-6 with Steelers. Not only that, but his punting tonight was huge, he really stepped up tonight when we needed him.

Suisham has been a nice surprise so far........His kick-offs still suck just like Reeds.......But 6-6 so far with field goals so I'll take it and he was huge as the emergency punter tonight.....Still the Steelers should spend a late round pick on a kicker or undrafted FA to battle Suisham for the job next year........Just don't want to see Suisham handed a job next year........I still want to see him kick in the play-offs as well......He missed a big kick in the post-season a few years back......

But Suisham deserved one of the game balls tonight for sure.......

I like him. I figure, Reed would have missed a couple of kicks between now and the rest of the season, so if Suisham does, it wont be that different than had we kept Reed.

He's had more into the endzone since he's been here than Reed had in 2 years. Last night they were offsides on one that went into the endzone.

He's been cool as ice, you can see the confidence in his face, even back there punting he had the look of "no problem man, I'll handle it"

I agree, I'm trying to be careful not to get all amped up over him, but he seems like a keeper!!

I would kill to have a kick-off specialist like Billy Cundiff. That man was amazing last night. As is their punter Sam Koch. Ravens had a much better ST that I've been giving them credit for.

I agree about Suisham being cool as ice! I like his approach and his presence!

As would every team in the NFL. Not just last night he does it all the time. I believe he's going to break a record for most touch backs.

I consider clutch kicks to be kicks that would end up changing the outcome of the game. Therefore, Sweezy made 2 clutch kicks last night.

Suisham has been a pleasant surprise. My only concern is his kicking in Heinz Field; he hasn't been there yet. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it, though. He has proven that he can get the team points and come through in a pinch. Comeback player of the last few weeks? At least for this team!
