He's the Saints' Rookie Receiver

He's on route to become the NFL Rookie of the Year

He's from Harrisburg, PA

He's from Susquehanna Township (my district)

I was told possibly to get his jersey. I say it would be tempting but i don't know if I could do it....wear a non-Steeler jersey....I think it would burn my skin.

Either way, the man is a great player and has done well in New Orleans. What you people think?

What do I think of what you getting his jersey or of him as a f'ball player? I have him on a couple of my fantasy teams and he has saved me a few times, awesome player. He typically gets about 100 yards a game and has had 7 tds, so I like him :) As far as getting the jersey, do what works for you.

The question more is what people think of him as a player. I was just joking about the jersey thing, although feel free to comment about that if you must!

i think he's badass, and him and brees are gonna be badass together for years to come........before the injury he was rookie of the year hands down however i'm not so sure anymore......you got players like vince young, Maurice Jones-Drew, stepping up their games a lot over the last few weeks.......but even if he doesn't get the r.o.y. he's till a very good player.......

Yea, I didn't take the injury into consideration. That did put him back in the running since he wasn't able to play for a while, but it will depend on how far the Saints go in the playoffs to really decide. If Colston played a major part in the Saints going far into the playoffs that might put him ahead of the game again.

It's great to see a local guy doing so well, and he just came out of nowhere this year and he's been unstoppable. Hell we made him look like Jerry Rice when we played the Saints !

Colston is something else! He has emerged as a big time player for the Saints and the key thing is he was only 3 spots away from being "Mr. Irrelevant" in the draft! The Saints had no idea they were drafting in the 7th round and probably just pulled his name out of a hat! he is awesome and he's only going to get better which is even more scary especially with all the talent the Saints already have!
