The Pittsburgh Steelers have hired former tight end Mark Bruener as a college scout.
Bruener played tight end with the Steelers for nine seasons after being drafted by Pittsburgh in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft. He finished his playing career with the Houston Texans.
Bruener spent this past summer interning with the Steelers’ scouting department during training camp.

I hope he is as good at scouting as he was at blocking.
