Born in Western PA.....love the "Stillers".......lived in Dallas of all places for a while and now hubby and I are back in Western PA.
Converted husband to a Steeler fan, although he still likes the Cowboys (it's ok)........wears blue/silver/black/gold on game days!
Looking forward to going to Training Camp on Saturday although I hear it isnt at ALL the the "old days".
Used to go in late 70's and early 80's when Terry, Franco, Lynn, etc.....were all there.
Great memories of the five of us teenage girls sitting on the steps of the gym waiting for the players to walk back from supper. Many a time Franco stopped and talked for 1/2 hour or more with us.
Remember going to some little bar in a shopping plaza in Latrobe (no, we didnt drink!) and having Jack Lambert buy us Cokes!
Wonder if the players still go to that bar? Cant remember the name.
Wishing for the good ole days again.......when the players played because they loved the game. So few of them left. It's all about $$ now.
