I expect this year will be tough, but that's when the Steelers are at their best! Its when it looks like they've got the season by the nether region that they just suck canal water. :imho:

It will be a tough year with injuries and suspensions. Every team in the North got better other then the steelers. Depends what kind of play you get from QB the first 4 weeks.

anywhere from 6 to 8 wins.

The Steelers thrive when they're the underdog. When people expect them to do well, they don't, and when people think they won't do well, they do. Seems like a lot of people are saying that they won't do well....

I say 10 or 11 wins.

The Steelers play their best ball when they are behind the 8 ball, when nobody expects them to do anything. That's how we've done it in the past, although this year is going to be pretty tough. Colon will be out, Ben will miss the first 4 games (im convinced the NFL will reduce the 6 game suspension to 4), Holmes is gone, the WR core is now vulnerable because of all the new faces, young players, and Ward's hamstring issues. The line is obviously a concern until proven other wise. Farrior isn't getting any younger so his ability to step up and have a good year will be big, as will Polamalu staying on the field this year.

There's alot of question marks just heading into this season, let alone what happens once it gets started.

If the team stays healthy, young players step up, there's no reason we can't win atleast 10 games but we 'll see how things unfold.

Where's the option for 16-0?

I still think the Steelers can win 10 games.

There is no reason that we cant win 10 or 11 games this year. We have talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball. We went after every free agent that is a great special teams player, our schedule isnt that tough, and we still have Ward, Miller and Ben as probowl level players at their positions. Wallace will continue to develop as well as the rookie WR's.

Doesn't matter how many wins. I truly believe we can win a superbowl every year.

We make the playoffs, others can't believe that stubborn gritty team they love to hate got in.

I have a feeling if we can get through the suspension with 2 losses, then ben is going to be ben. I actually see us getting to the super bowl, speccialy with wallace and ward. Mendenhall is going to be a beast. my only worries is the offensive line now. if we can land a good free agent to replace colon then i think ben will get his 3rd ring and we now would have 7

W/ Troy - 12-4 w/ out 8-8. Our D depends way too much on him (2009)....I'm not worried about offense too much!!

I don't know why you still post here anymore. Save yourself the embarrassment. I still remember the thread where you said the Browns had a talent advantage team from top to bottom going into 2008. You've got to be the dumbest fan on Earth.

Hey Kleevland. Just in case no one told you were wrong for at least a million times, let me add to the fn count. You were wrong 1,000,001 times. Season standings by division, Steelers 12 -4. Kleevland 5-11. I would o picked 10 -6. Cause last year was an inspiration(you don't even know what that means in Kleevland) to do better and they did.
