Looks good to me. What number will McFadden be I wonder? Lewis has #20, and on Steelers.com McFadden is the only player on the team right now without a number assigned.

One of those numbers really stand out as a pretty big number to duplicate . Any idea , which one .

Who gets # 10 ?

I would guess that McFadden will buy his number back. Veterans do that alot if they are particularly fond of a particular number they've had forever.

Dennis Dixon is wearing #10

And Im pretty sure that most of those numbers will change after training camp...like i said before, I believe Patrick Bailey will ultimately be cut and Pouncey will take #55...and I really dont see Dwyer keeping #41....

I think Pouncey has to have a number in the 60's because he's going to play Guard.

88 was Swann's #, 47 was Blount's, 95 was Lloyd's, but 95 has been used for a few years now. I don't recall any recent 88's or 47's...

#70 Ernie Stautner is the only player to ever have his number officially retired by the Steelers.

Not retired, just not used very often... only one actual # is retired. Can anyone name it?

50's 60's and 70's are acceptable...

Thought i read yesterday that Sanders was going to sport 18... musta changed his mind over night.

BMac wore #20 before but now Keenan isnt a rookie anymore. #25 in Arz but thats Clarks and #8 at FSU (#28 is justin vincent, #38 is the new FB Taylor) only 20-something # open is #23...

I had to look it up on BING but I found that out and it is #70.... I have to say I was surprised to see that with all the great players we have had wear the Black and gold you would have thought it was alot higher then that.

K must be researchin that one . Who was the guy we got for a six pack and it didn't even have to be cold ?

--- Added 4/29/2010 at 08:36 PM ---

Buddy ryan got rid of him and at his press conference he stated :" trade the guy for a six pack , it doesn't have to be cold either " . I think Troy has his number now .

--- Added 4/29/2010 at 10:58 PM ---

Much in the same way the team does not splatter our world championships all over the stadium like other teams do (Dallas I'm looking at you), we do not 'officially' retire numbers either other than 70. For years we had the same guy whose duty it was to issue numbers and he took it upon himself not to hand out certain jerseys. Numbers 12,32,75,58,59 have not been issued since those that made them famous wore them. I'd have to check on 52 and until now, I believe 47 had not been used either. I stand corrected if I missed someone here.

I wonder which rookie jersey will everyone want this year? My choice would be either be Gibson or Dwyer!!:yellowthumb:
