From the film i just watched....he knows how to high point the ball and go and get it, he knows how to run with the Recievers, and he KNOWS how to intercept the ball:lol: I can't believe he went this late in the draft, he looks like he will be a nickel corner for us from jump, and with the re addition of B-Mac we won't have to rush this kid on the field:clap:, i think we really had a good value draft this year if the LB's we took work out:crossfingers: I don't know a bout the RB and WR though...

Dont think so. I think Butler will get a chance on ST, and thats it. Gay was a horrible starter, but a pretty damn good NB imo... We also have both Burnett and Lewis who the coaches seems happy about. Especially Burnett is going to be a fine NB.

gay is a hell of a nickel corner only giving up like 2.3 yards per catch the other year when he was the fuill time NB. just because hes not fit out wide as a full time starter doesnt mean hes worthless to us

With McFadden coming back and this guy being drafted the defensive backfield is a bit crowded and a couple of them aint gonna make the cut.

Yeah they were! And when B-mac went down (2008 mid-season), Gay stepped up against SD,DAL,CIN and NE... and balled out. Hopefully, with B-Mac back, Gay realizes he's gonna have to fight for his playing time. When he did that he was a hell of a young player!
