The biggest story in the USA was probably the Saints but on the global scale the Zindane incident was probably far and away #1

I would have to think it was the Saints, I mean really this team has sucked for so long and they come out of nowhere from the trajedy of Katrina and they've been on fire, inspired by Sean Payton and his great coaching.
