Steelers hire wide receivers coach

Coach Mike Tomlin filled the final opening on his staff today when he hired Scottie Montgomery to coach the Steelers wide receivers.
Montgomery, 31, coached the wide receivers at Duke the past four seasons. He played the position for the Denver Broncos from 2000 to 2002 after finishing among the career leaders at Duke University.

Cool...never heard of him though. He's relatively young, but is that a good thing? I guess we'll have to see. Maybe he can bring Sweed up to his potential....:crossfingers:

wish in one hand and sweed in the other and see which gets filled first .. imo sweed needs a shrink, it is mostly in his head, but he also sucks

He's a young coach and you know he's going to bring enthusiasm to his coaching style, which is always nice especially for young players like Wallace & Sweed who are still learning.
