Former Baltimore Ravens cornerback David Pittman signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to his agent.

Pittman is a former third-round draft pick with the Ravens who was selected in the 2006 NFL draft after playing collegiately at Northwestern State (La.).

Pittman has also had stints with the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Texans.

He played this past season for the New York Sentinels in the United Football League.

Playing seven games for the Ravens during the 2007 season, he recorded 10 tackles and two interceptions

Meh.. We have enough of these kind of players already. We need some actual talent.

The fact that he's been on 3 different teams since being drafted in 2006 doesn't make him very appealing on the onset, although he had 2 picks in 7 games with the Ratbirds...perhaps though he just never got his shot to really make an impact. If he was on the Saints, Ravens, and Texans, the secondary could have been crowded enough that he just wasn't able to get enough playing time to really see what he's capable of. Our secondary is in dire need of talent, so he'll get his chance to play here. It seems like Tomlin is really going after anbody and anybody he can get his hands on this offseason to try and shake up this roster.

He won't feel crowded on this team, that's for damn sure!

:helmet:Lets look on the bright side:tt02: Ummm is there one in that decision, Its not like you need to rebuild the whole team. Why not go out and spend some money to find new and upcoming talent that can establish themselves under the guidance of Pluxatoni Polamalu and see how a mad man does it in the secondary.
