The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler received an offer to become the Dolphins defensive coordinator, and Butler declined.
Butler, per the Post-Gazette, is regarded as the favorite to succeed Dick LeBeau, when he eventually retires as defensive coordinator of the Steelers.
