The Steelers yesterday signed 6-4 wide receiver Walter Young from their practice squad to their 53-man roster and released linebacker Marquis Cooper.

Wide receiver Hines Ward has been listed as questionable all week with a hyperextended knee although he did practice on Friday. Young's signing could be as insurance in case Ward cannot play in Baltimore today.

Cooper, a third-year pro, was signed Oct. 31 when linebacker Arnold Harrison was placed on injured reserve.

6'4 is a nice size for a WR..if he has to play hopefully he'll be able to contribute in a positive manner but at this point he'll probably just dress and be insurance this sunday.

Unless 2 or 3 guys get hurt then I dont see him gettin any playing time (which means I hope he doesn't play because then we're having guys get hurt left and right). It has to be awesome for him to dress though.

Yeah he's gotta be excited, but you're right if he plays then that probably means we're in serious trouble !
