...........anyone think we would actually have a chance? What would Manning do to this D? I hate Manning and I`m a Steelers fan til the end, but this is the weakest team we`ve had in awhile. I hope maybe when we get Troy back, that will really boost our D, and as a unit they will respond!

Agreed, I believe that if we made the playoffs Troy would be healthy enough to play, but if not, we wouldn't make it far. The guy is our entire secondary.

If the Steelers make the playoffs and Polamalu gets back on the scene, it will be a huge shot in the arm for the psyche of the entire Steeler D. The Steelers will then be a tough out for anybody they play.
On another note, it's been weird not feeling secure with a double digit lead. It used to be if the Steelers were up by 10 at the half, I felt pretty good about our chances, now it's a craps shoot.

Manning wouldn't do much. Never has. He sucks against 3-4 teams and I hate everyone giving him handjobs.

Unfortunately I can see the Patriots "tanking" to MAKE SURE we don't make the playoffs because naturally a Pittsburgh team with a healthy Polamalu is very dangerous in comparison to Houston.

No...Patriots already clinched the division, thats all they can do. Chargers & Colts already have the 1st & 2nd seeds. Houston at home could easily beat the Pats with a playoff spot on the line. And the Jets look like they are going to beat Indy.
