OK, since the Steelers are circling the hole, a good bit of you have emptied out your bank accounts, bought cases of duct tape, bottled water to last 8 years, bullets and clean underwear, let me ask you this. . .
What if (for arguments sake), Arians gets the AX, who is your ideal OC in and what type of offense do you want run?
What if LeBeau says f*ck it, I'm too old for this and I'm retiring, who do you want to replace LeBeau?
(Match Game porn music starts now. . .)

I really like the type of offense they run in Baltimore, with the guys we got that offense would be nice. It really depends on who's available for either coaching spot, I just like what Camerons doing over there.

So in other words, something unpreditcable. . .Run first, Pass off the run.

Exactly! It sounds simple enough you would think anybody could have put that together. I mean what did Bruce think Rashard was drafted in the first round for?

Id like to see what Anderson can do these last 3 games but that wont happen. Soooo, I'd like to see the Stees go outside and bring someone in. Seems like OC's are always available. If Lebeau retires then my heart shall do the following: v^v^v^___v^v^_____v^v^v^v^________________________ __________

Five of our seven losses were because our defense gave a way leads in the fourth quarter or overtime. One we got our butt kicked and the last one, we did not play with heart. I don't blame BA and I love DL. The problem I see is that Tomlin needs to learn how to motivate his team when things are not going so good.
In his first season, he worked the players too hard in minicamp and too hard in practice. Result...a first round loss in the playoffs.
He makes adjustments and in his second season wins the Superbowl. Now he has a team that is losing the close games they won last year to teams we should never lose to. What he does over the next three weeks will determine whether or not we have a successful 2010 campaign.
Some lessons can only be learned with experience. I hope Tomlin learns how to keep his team motivated and get their best in every game they play. I disagree that we had good fight against the Browns. If that was a good fight, then I am a Ravens Fan!
I do believe we need to look at two possible changes. Special teams coach has to go!!! I also think our conditioning coach has to go!!! Then we will see what happens next year before getting rid of BA, DL, or any other coaches. The only stat I care about is wins and as long as we get enough of those in most years, I can live with everything else.

I'd let Ken Anderson call offensive plays for the last three games and maybe just let him go at the end of the season as well.
Get rid of all the people that Ben has tainted and start fresh.
I really don't like Charlie Weiss but I think he could be a half decent OC.
He helped develop Brady and I don't think he'd be the type of coach who'd let Ben put too much influence into the offense.
Defensive Coordinator......anyones guess is as good as any.

Wasn't this Hines Ward's 13th season? When do you guys think he will pull the plug? He is still in really good shape and plays well but how much longer do you think he will stick it out?

If Arians is shown the door ... which sound like it's going to happen now, Anderson will be fired as well and deservingly so. Ken Anderson hasn't really done much for Ben in terms of growing and developing him. To me, Anderson seems like the nice guy that just wants to be Ben's friend. Screw that, give Ben someone that will challenge him and bust his balls now and then.
If Ben wants a pal .... he needs to buy another dog.

I'd be all for letting Anderson call the plays the last 3 games of the season, but Tomlin won't do it. It would create too much potential locker room backbiting and would basically tell the NFL that we're throwing in the Terrible Towel on this season to prepare for next year. The Steelers have never done that, it's not how they operate, so I don't expect that to change now. They will keep the status quo as far as coaches go these last 4 games and then make their changes when it's over.
Ben has had it great here, Arians let Ben pretty much do the playbook to his liking, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing really but if you're gonna change then go all the way. Unless Anderson has a different philosphy on offense then we might be better off going outside the organization to atleast look. If Anderson has been Arians influenced, which I'm sure he is to some degree, then we might be in for more of the same next year if he's the OC.

I love BA's plays, just not his play calling, Big Ben has shown in the no huddle that the plays can be successful at the right time, I would rather look outside the organization for a new OC, but if LeBeau left, I think the Linebackers coach is being groomed, otherwise, I think he would have considered the Arizona DC position last year. To be honest, the linebacker's coach would be the best replacement for LeBeau if we want to continue in the 3-4 defense.
