Anyone think Reed was going to make a 53 yarder on yesterdays field? Raiders go 57 yards to take the lead. That was the start of the 21 points by Oakland. You can't give up that kind of field position in a 10-6 game! Ben took a 9 yard sack to make it that long. 44 maybe but not 53 in those conditions. Reed has been far from automatic. Ben slipped on a qb sneak and Gay couldn't stand up the whole game. I never seen one player fall down sooooo many times.

Frankly I'm hoping Parkers gone after this year along with a few other slackers on this team...(William Gay).

Personally I thought he could make it....but it was weird when the raiders kicker kicked that one field goal it was going right..right..right and all of a sudden it swung around to the left and thru the goal posts...I was like :wtf:

A kicker kicks the ball like a pitcher throws wicked curves. That sh-it was wierd.

The kick was long enuff, just pushed it left a hair. If anyone was gonna make a 53 inside Hinez it would be Jeff Reed. Long kick are so unpredictable there and hes had the most experience.

Just like the announcers said..if they were playing the Colts or the Saints, yeah they would have punted from the 35. But they were playing the Raiders, and I'm sure they assumed if they didn't make that field goal it wouldn't matter because they would be able to stop them anyway. Guess they were wrong.

I'd punted, this isn't the 08' D!!

Yes that was the turning point of the game in my opinion...I knew from that point on even as bad as the Raiders offense had looked all game that if they were given a short field with a lot of momentum they were going to score...When is Tomlin going to learn that YOU CANNOT TRUST THIS DEFENSE THIS YEAR PERIOD!!!

I was at the game and that thing was left by more than a hair. No way they should have attempted that kick in my opinion.

He has the range, but I would have played the numbers and punted, hoping to pin the Raiders deep. Obviously that wasn't guaranteed either.

47-48, yes, 53, no.
