Texans kicker Kris Brown isn't going anywhere.
In a decision that may not please certain Texans fans, coach Gary Kubiak will not even try out other kickers after Brown missed a potential game-tying kick in consecutive games.
"Kris is our kicker," Kubiak said at his Tuesday press conference.
The team's decision is less surprising if you consider Brown's contract. He signed a four-year, $10 million contract with $2.5 million guaranteed in June.
"[I'm] the reason we lose the game," Brown said Monday. "That's hard for me to take. I need to go figure out what the heck is going on, and I need to figure it out pretty quick."
