Steelers safety Troy Polamalu will miss Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, according to a league source, and a return by the crucial Week 12 meeting with the Ravens is remote at this point.

Polamalu suffered his second knee injury of the season in a loss to the Bengals last weekend.

The Steelers are hopeful the injury will not keep Polamalu out of more than three games total, and the team will be cautious about how quickly he returns.

I had a feeling he'd be out this Sunday, but Troy is always a play maker when it comes to the Ravens games, hopefully he's in, but I doubt it. Carter better get his ass ready

Well they said he is suppose to play in Baltimore next week so I think they are just proceeding with caution. And even if Troy isnt completely healthy for the remainder of the season Ill still take a 75 percent Troy starting the rest of the year over a healthy and 100 percent Tyrone Carter anyday of the week...

I just saw a flash on NFLC saying he is highy unlikely to play against the rats in a couple weeks...

Shit! I was really wanting him to play against the Ratbirds. Troy on IR? I would need to take a day or two off work to deal with that and the hangover caused by 36 cold Coors lights and a 5th of Gentleman Jack!
