He won't be a Steeler.

We don't need someone who runs his mouth like he does. I think the 2009 Steelers are doing just fine without him.

I can safely say the Steelers will not sign Larry Johnson. Especially with Mendy playing like a top-flight running back. Adding Johnson into the mix would be nice, a for sure short yardage back, but with Moore and Parker awaiting their turns, he would only cause problems.

Keep dreamin' Johnson, I'm sure there's room on the Browns, Patriots, or most likely the Redskins roster (they sign any bum).

Don't forget if you add him you have to get rid of somebody else.

Rumored......

Larry Johnson spent seven years with the Kansas City Chiefs before the team released him on November 9 for posting nasty tweets about his coach, the team's fans, and any fellas who happen to fall for other fellas. Now it's looking the Washington Redskins might be picking him up, according to the Washington Post.

At the very least, Redskins head coach Jim Zorn isn't ruling out the possibility. The Redskins are plenty used to offending folks with the name they've got and they're in need of a running back after Clinton Portis got hurt. If Portis can't play, the team will likely bring a running back onboard.

That could be Quinton Ganther, who the team just released last week, or Johnson. Zorn says the team will discuss all the possibilities.
