Interesting piece. Apparently they are doing this all season long.

This probably won't surprise anyone, but I think there are too many rules right now that go against defensive players.

We won the Super Bowl last season, and expectations are high.

I grew up in Saginaw, Mich., and went to college at Michigan, so it's great to get back home this week.

I had 11.5 sacks in 2008, but last year is last year.

My personal favorite quote:

When Chicago beat us in Week 2, you'd think they'd just won the Super Bowl. And when we went down and lost to Cincinnati, you'd think they just won Super Bowl XLIV. Some teams can handle winning, some can't.

I love that last favorite quote.

But that is what happens when YOU ARE THE DEFENDING CHAMPIONS!!!
Every team playing against you thinks this is their Superbowl!!!!
And some teams can and cannot handle winning
chicago, cinn., cannot handle winning cleveland included
always the mistake by the lake!!!
deal with it and accept it cleve fans

to bad about losing LeBron next year. sucks (as always) to be you!!!!

I think this will be Woodley's week. Detroit and the clowns should be easy games for him to bring those stats up and build some momentum for the remainder of the season. We need him to be playing his best when we go against the Vikes in 2 weeks. Troy will be back then and all cylinders should be in sync on both our O and D.

Back home, family watching, itching for big plays, against Gosder Cherilus and Culpepper....oh boy, I feel really bad for Daunte.

Thanks for the link, I like Woodley's confidence, a lot of times, sacks come in bunches and that is what we'll see with Woodley. I didn't realize, though, that he went 7 straight games without a sack last year and still had 11 & 1/2 at the end of the season. He's definitely due.
