Now that he was cut, do they bring him back. I would think so. Ed Bouchette had mentioned in one chat that they really liked him and were disappointed that he had been picked up.
If anyone hears anything, please post. I'd like to see him develop as future Steeler DE.

I thought it was Ra'Shon Harris that was recently cut.

Yes, its true. Yesterday the Panthers cut Ra'Shon Harris and signed Holis Thomas another veteran DT that used to play for the Eagles. He is available to whatever team wants him. I do hope the Steelers pick him up and wouldn't be surprised if they did. :helmet:

He decided to stay on Carolina's practice squad instead of coming to ours

Forget him

There will be no Sonny Harris back in Pittsburgh. The rookie defensive end has signed back with Carolina's practice squad.

The Panthers cut Harris last week from their 53-man roster. The Steelers called their 2009 sixth-round pick earlier because they wanted him on their practice squad. Just as they had back at September's start.

They had hoped to sign him to their practice squad after they released him among the final roster cuts before the start of the season. Carolina, however, swooped in and signed him to their regular roster.

Harris had a choice to sign with either the Steelers' or Carolina's practice squad, and chose Carolina because he believed they provided him a better avenue to return to a 53-man roster.

Damn....I was really hoping the Steelers were going to be able to sign him to the practice squad. He has a lot of potential.
